Michael Treacy MRICS

Michael is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) and RICS Registered Valuer with 25 years in the property industry, 16 of them in the Cayman Islands. He co-founded Plum in 2018 to bring global professional standards to property services in Cayman.

Michael carries out Plum’s valuations personally, from bank and mortgage valuations to land, commercial and major development projects. He is on every Cayman retail bank valuation panel, and Plum is appointed to the Cayman Islands Government Valuation Panel for 2025/2027.

Alongside his valuation work, Michael runs development and joint venture projects across Grand Cayman. That hands-on experience of land, planning, build costs, funding and sales feeds directly into his valuations, feasibility studies and development appraisals, so lenders, developers and investors get figures grounded in how the Cayman market really works.

His practice also covers strata and asset management, development consultancy and investment advice.
